Cooper Webb confirms 2026 will be his final year racing Pro Motocross
Cooper Webb has announced that the 2026 Pro Motocross season will be his final one outdoors, with the three-time 450SX champion set to transition into a Supercross‑only program from 2027.
“I think for me, I’ve done my time. My body still feels good, but as we know, the outdoor series is a whole other grind, and like last year, I tore my knee up racing it and had to get surgery. I don’t really have the same flair in motocross as I used to," he insisted.
“There’s obviously been a lot of [other] rumours going around, the biggest one is that I will be racing in 2027 and 2028. I can’t tell you too much more than that, but it’s for sure going to be a done deal. I will be racing outdoors this year on my Star Racing Yamaha.”
The expectation is that Webb will ramp up his World Supercross presence, especially after testing the waters with a lone wildcard appearance at the Australian Grand Prix in 2025.
