Jason Anderson to step away from racing indefinitely
Pipes Motorsports Group has revealed that Jason Anderson will be sidelined indefinitely while he deals with personal and medical matters.
This comes fresh after Anderson missing Daytona for what was described as ongoing medical issues. Reports then broke stating Anderson had been arrested near the end of 2025 for domestic violence.
Jason Anderson also commented on the situation, posting: "I want to speak directly about the recent situation. I take full responsibility for my actions, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt they’ve caused my wife and family. We are asking for privacy right now, as my focus needs to be on my family. I’m stepping away indefinitely to give them my full attention and to work on being the husband and father they deserve."
His team then provided a statement: “Pipes Motorsports Group announces that rider Jason Anderson will be stepping away from Supercross competition for an indefinite period to address personal, family, and ongoing medical matters. This decision was made jointly by Jason and his management team in coordination with the organisation."
