Charlie Heyman locked in for Hawkstone International

The newly crowned 2026 British MX2 Champion, Charlie Heyman, will charge into an MX2 clash with the World’s Best at the ASHBROOK | Plant Hire | Access Hire | Agricultural Hire Hawkstone International powered by Syntol Lubricants on Sunday, February 21st, 2027. Words: Hawkstone International

The SC Sporthomes Husqvarna rider arrives as the leading light of a new generation of British talent and will line up against international and Grand Prix opposition. Heyman produced the finest season of his career so far in 2026 to claim the ACU British Motocross Championship MX2 title and his first senior national crown.

He set the tone early, winning races at Preston Docks and Landrake and taking dominant 1-1 overall victories at both Lyng and Monster Mountain, where he swept both motos. After five rounds he had built a commanding 55-point lead, and he sealed the championship with a round to spare at Duns in Scotland, battling through a broken footpeg and shattered goggles in the second race to bring the title home.

The Hawkstone International gives British fans the chance to see the country's best riders take on the stars of MXGP and MX2 on home soil, and in 2027 that means the British MX2 Champion going head-to-head with Grand Prix regulars on one of the toughest sand tracks in the world.

It is a full day of racing for all the family, with the MX1, MX2 and EMX125 classes building up to the ever-popular Super Final, where the top riders from both senior classes go head-to-head.

Fans can also get up close to the riders and teams with free access to the paddock.
