VMXdN Hawkstone 2026 entries go live on December 7

Often regarded as "the golden ticket", the race entries for the biggest and most prestigious vets event worldwide will be available on the Go-Race entry platform at 4 pm on Sunday, December 7th, 2025. Words: VMXdN Hawkstone

The event will be held at the iconic Hawkstone Park Grand Prix circuit in Shropshire on its annual date, the August Bank Holiday weekend, August 27-30, 2026, for the four-day festival celebrating the golden era of two-stroke MX.

In addition to a new venue for 2026, there are some changes to the classes. Classes for the 2026 event are as follows:

EVO 125 / EVO OPEN – SPLIT CLASS

Evo 125 Age over 30 years Machine 125 Up to and including 1989

Evo Open Age over 30 years Machine Up to and including 1989

ALL 125s CLASS

Age over 25 years Machine up to and including 1996

Age over 25 years Machine from 97-08

SUPER EVO OPEN

Age over 30 years Machine up to and including 1996

EVO ULTRA OPEN

Evo Ultra Group 1 Age over 16 2-stroke Machine 2003-2008

Evo Ultra Group 2 Age over 16 2-stroke Machine 2003-2008

2 separate races, there will be one class entry on Go Race, and entries will be randomly split across the two classes

EVO PLUS OPEN

Age over 16 2-stroke Machine 1997-2002

EVO ULTRA OVER 50 / OVER 60 – SPLIT CLASS

Age over 50 2-stroke Machine up to and including 2008

Age over 60 2-stroke Machine up to and including 2008

WRIGHT ENGINEERING NATIONAL TEAM RACE (INVITE ONLY) following application

Any age rider Teams of 3 riders Machine 2-stroke up to and including 2008 – open class

All teams must be professionally presented

All team bikes under one awning

Teams will be located in B paddock

VMXDN INTERNATIONAL TEAM RACE (INVITE ONLY) following application

2 x riders over 30 Team of 3 riders Machine 2-stroke up to and including 2008 – open class

1 x rider over 35

All Teams must be professionally presented
