Injury Update: Cas Valk

Injury Update Cas Valk

It’s been confirmed Cas Valk has broken his leg following a crash at the Dutch Masters in Markelo.

The setback comes just as the Dutch ace was gathering some momentum after parting ways with TM and securing a new ride with Chambers KTM, as Valk immediately showed his speed by topping his qualifying group in only his second race back on KTM equipment.

That progress ended abruptly with a heavy fall that left him requiring surgery. His recovery is now underway, but there’s no indication yet whether he’ll return before the season closes.

"Unfortunately, I had a crash yesterday and broke my leg. It’s a shame, as I was feeling really good these last couple of weeks with the new team. Luckily, I have great people around me, so the recovery starts directly to be back as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for the messages," he stated.
