Haiden Deegan out of MXoN for Team USA

After a week of rehab following surgery for the broken collarbone he suffered at the SMX finale in Las Vegas, Haiden Deegan tested today with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing to see if he could race this weekend’s Motocross of Nations.

As reported by Racer X’s Jason Weigandt, Deegan was able to ride but still experienced too much pain when pushing at race pace, which has led to the decision to sit the showpiece event out.

Reserve rider Justin Cooper will now replace Deegan on the 250 and join Eli Tomac and RJ Hampshire to represent Team USA.
