Injury Update: Kyle Webster forced out of 2026 MXoN

With the Lawrence brothers already ruled out of the 2026 Monster Energy of Nations at Ernee in October, Australia’s luck has taken another hit, with Kyle Webster, who was a key part of the squad for the past two years, now sidelined as well.

“P3 in the championship - definitely not where we wanted to finish, but I’m happy to have made it to the end of the season. Unfortunately, I’d been dealing with some shoulder issues from the crash I had at Hangtown, which was making my right arm weak while riding," Webster stated.

“I had surgery last week and got the rebuild from Dr Steve Andrews. Now it’s time for some downtime, get healthy and come back stronger for next year. A huge thank you to my team and everyone in my corner. It’s been a massive effort from everyone, and I genuinely can’t thank you all enough.”

Team Australia should still roll out a serious line-up, with Jed Beaton and Aaron Tanti in the frame, and the MX2 spot likely coming down to Jake Cannon or Kayden Minear.
